For more than fifty years, Robert A. M. Stern Architects (RAMSA), founded by legendary architect Robert A.M. Stern in 1969, has designed extraordinary buildings around the world. After establishing a reputation for designing extraordinary private homes in the 70s and 80s, RAMSA partnered with the Walt Disney Company on numerous projects in the 90s. Since then, the firm as created some of the most distinguished buildings of the early 21st century. Some of RAMSA’s major notable projects1 in New York include 15 Central Park West, 70 Vestry, 520 Park Avenue, and 1228 Madison Avenue.

The design of ONE STANLEY was led by Stern and Partners, Paul Whalen and Grant Marani. Whalen and Marani have both worked substantially in Asia, designing a large number of projects ranging from private homes and apartment buildings to the planning of entire neighborhoods and urban districts. Many of their projects have earned international recognition, numerous awards, and citations for design excellence. Stern’s individual honors include the AIA’s Topaz Medallion, the Vincent Scully Prize, the Athena Award from the Congress for the New Urbanism, and the Richard H. Driehaus Prize2 for his commitment to incorporating classical theories into his projects.

For ONE STANLEY, the design took inspiration from the coastal hillside villages of Santorini and Mykonos in Greece, Porto Cervo in Italy, as well as from the French Riviera, drawing parallels between the Mediterranean seashore and the beautiful coastal line of Stanley Bay. Echoing the feeling of exclusivity looming imposingly on the coasts of the seafront villages of Europe, ONE STANLEY offers unparalleled charm and a sense of elegant luxury beyond compare.
